John
has been trying hard to figure out what it takes to be a good
father, ever since he started raising and caring for his adopted
son in 1996. Jarrett recently graduated from Wyotech, in Wyoming, where he earned his degree in automotive engineering, he is currently working on a B.S. degree.
John's has a nephew, Mitchell who is in elementary school. John enjoys spending time with his family when they can get together a few times a year. John and Jarrett live about eight hours south of his family in Northern Michigan, but they try to visit as much as they can. Hectic work schedules make that tough, but they did get together for a week in North Carolina in 2002. Read the story and check out the pictures.

John has a network of friends that he keeps in touch with, but not many of them live close to the Quad Cities (the beautiful Midwestern conglomeration of cities that share the shores of the Mississippi River and bridge the gap between Iowa and Illinois.
