I slept in until 9AM today. Then I got up and picked up a little. Jarrett was out late… really late, and I found a friend asleep on the couch. I’ve been trying to keep things low-key, and keep the dogs quiet so as not to wake the sleeping. Most of my activities were outside, like trimming the rose bushes and putting away things before it started to rain.

It is raining lightly now. You can see a slow patter of drops hitting the placid surface of the pool. It’s about 66 degrees, and the wind is still. I have a few windows open to get a breeze through the house. I’m going to sit here for a bit, and decide what I’ll do next. Maybe sip my dark, fresh-ground coffee and read up on how to use my new hedge trimmer, or read that book about string theory, or just relax. Maybe when Jarrett gets up, we’ll all head over to IHOP for breakfast. Whatever. Let the day come when it does. No stress. =j=
