The Overmedication of Our Children

I have written before about my concerns that we overmedicate our children. We blame ADHD for children acting up or getting bored with school. In fact, in our overworked society tends to look for easy solutions to difficult problems. Just imagine what people would pay for a pill that made you tan and skinny. Clearly, something that makes teenagers passive and pleasant may often just be treating the symptoms of being a child. Read this article, written by Armstrong Williams, “The Drugging of America’s Children.”
