Gray Day & CAT scans

I spent much of the day lethargically answering the flood of email in my inbox about an annoying VBS virus that wasn’t getting around a lot but annoying people. I tried to help with remote access security and my team had some lengthy discussions around the (ill conceived) topic of allowing users to buy their own computers and hook them (somehow) to our internal network. (I’m afraid perimeter security is still vital, as long as corporations don’t have the kind of data classification and management that we had when I worked for the government in the 90s.)

Before I knew it, my alarm went off and it was time to drink a nice barium shake in anticipation of my 1:45 pm CAT scan. Then I had bloodwork at the medical center. I will post something depending on the results I get back from all this. I see my doctors in a week, BTW. I stopped on the way home to buy a hundred dollars worth of groceries (and a box of pseudoephedrine) – of which, the grocery portion should make several meals at least. (It is expensive to feed three men on one paycheck.)

It is gray out, and I am pondering going to the gym as I sit here and blog, and peruse the Internet and wait for a pizza to cook. I haven’t eaten all day, so I’m kind of hungry. I am not sure I am motivated enough to work out. Maybe later. That’s the good part about a 24×7 gym. I feel like chilling and watching some more Stargate, season 10. I watched Burn Notice and four episodes of Stargate last night, after my class finished. I admit it… I was having Stargate withdrawals going without it since last weekend. I am on track though, to finish season 10 and the first movie before the next one is released in a week!
